Tour & Travel

The LCVA interacts with multiple tour bus associations in order to increase visitor spending, weekend bookings, and attendance at heritage sites and events by Motorcoach groups. Specifically, the LCVA markets to tour planners and group leaders by:

• Conducting sales calls in person, via phone, and through Internet contact
• Attending industry trade shows and travel exchange events
• Hosting familiarization tours
• Working with local attractions, accommodations, and fairs & festivals interested in group travelers
• Creating group itineraries to promote Loudoun County to tour operators
• Developing a tour planner tool that highlights services, packages, and tour options for groups
• Working with travel trade representatives to enhance Loudoun's destination positioning through public relations
